Abstract: Participants engage in a facilitated discussion to reflect on impactful experiences, both positive and negative, related to working in a male-dominated industry. The discussion includes how these experiences were initially handled and considers new approaches to similar situations. The session also focuses on the importance of support systems, sharing what aided in overcoming challenges and identifying key individuals who provided support during struggles or opportunities.

Outcome: Gain insights into effective handling of challenging experiences and the importance of robust support systems, leading to personal strategies for overcoming obstacles and building a supportive network.

These Women in Industry pre-conference sessions aim to empower women in the industry by fostering an inclusive and supportive culture. Participants will engage with female leaders and peers to share experiences, challenges, and strategies for success. Through reflective discussions, attendees will explore how to manage industry challenges and build strong support systems.
